Sonic's Escape from Patrick Releasing Eldritch Horrors Upon the Green Hill Zone

Another assignment for school! The goal was to model 3 separate animal characters, so I decided to push the definition of what defined an actual animal character just a teensy bit and came up with Patrick Star, Sonic the Hedgehog and one of the We Bare Bears. Then I decided to come up with a full set of We Bare Bears and let them wreak havoc on Sonic's world. Overall, a pretty fun experience! Everything was done in Maya.

Wide Shot. Establishing the scene for Sonic's desperate escape. Also, apparently laser beams burn through the grass.

Full Shot. We're getting a little more intense. Run, Sonic, run!

Medium Shot. We've got an imposing view of the eldritch bears in comparison to Sonic, his desperation slightly visible behind his wry smile.

Closeup Shot. Grizzly the Relentless smiles maniacally, enjoying the thrill of the chase. He wonders how much longer this little hedgehog will run before his laser beams inevitably cut through the blue ball of fuzz.

Extreme Closeup Shot. Patrick, realising the horror he has brought out upon this world, only sits back and basks in his delusions made real. He has full control of the beings from beyond this dimension, his dream of universal conquest finally fulfilled.

Front View. He's zipping past the lasers, he's running around at the speed of sound.

Side View. The amount of rings behind Sonic is either a testament to his fear to stop and collect them, or how much he's already been hit by the bear lasers.

Perspective Beauty Shot. Patrick forgets that Sonic is the main character, and as a result he cannot die. He wins, and does a couple of backflips.

Patrick model reference board. My indecision in figuring out which iteration I wanted to do also helped with understanding the wireframe of the whole figure better.
