Okay So I Tried To Recreate Pantheon From League of Legends in Maya and It Was Quite Fun.

Yeah so this was pretty damn fun to do. Another school-related assignment, I decided to try my hand at modelling a helmetless Pantheon from League of Legends. It's missing a few details here and there due to time constraints, but I'll be damned if I don't admit I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite all the stresses I had to endure.
Fiddling with a ton of accessories, trying to work my way through interpreting the in-game model reference, and even just constructing nicely-shaped nipples had me fussing about which vertex to drag and which edges to shift about.

References for some low-poly character models. I actually thought of doing Waluigi at first, but then I started procrastinating by playing League of Legends and that's how I got inspired to recreate Pantheon.

I checked out this one Pantheon model from Sketchfab, and I think this was when I decided that the character was indeed very doable. A bit of a shame that I didn't cross reference this model more, looking back it would've been extremely useful.

This was the reference I loaded up onto image planes on Maya to get a better sense of scale - I primarily followed this model sheet reference to approximate the proportions and accessory construction for Pantheon.
